Vets News - May 2018

08/05/2018

The course has again returned to the condition that is much appreciated by Carbrook Vets, and I am sure, all Golf Club members and the many visitors who enjoy playing at Carbrook. Whilst contributing greatly to the current course condition the rain did also cause disruptions to play and resulted in damage to the course. Thanks to the efforts of the ground staff and the many volunteers, the course has recovered quickly and is again well presented.

Membership, Carbrook Veteran Golfers

Membership of the Carbrook Veteran Golfers continue to grow.  Currently there are more than 180 paid up members. If you are 55 or over for a male, or 50 or more for a female and a member of the Carbrook Golf Club you are eligible to join the Vets and play in the Thursday competitions. You only need to book into a Thursday Vets competition, pay your $10 Albert and Logan membership fee to the Committee and you are then eligible to play in all Carbrook Veteran Golfers and other Albert and Logan Vets competitions during that calendar year.  Hope to see you there soon.
