Vets News - August 2018
Once again, due to rain that only seems to occur on a Thursday, the monthly medal competition that was planned for 12 July had to be postponed. I am a little bit suspicious that a rain dance may have been arranged by some members who prefer to play games other than stroke?? However, the monthly medal game was rescheduled and played on Thursday 2 August. Results for the July monthly medal can be found below.
Membership continues to grow and is now 195. The increase in Vet membership has created a growing number of players wishing to play in the Thursday competition. Booking a spot in the field has become difficult and unfortunately some golfers are experiencing difficulties in getting a time slot. It is necessary to book early and if a spot is not available when you do book, place yourself on the waiting list. Please ensure that if you have booked and are unable to attend, cancel early so that others wishing to play are able to gain a playing position.
