McCullagh and Wilson win 2018 Coca-Cola Carbrook Classic
Overnight leaders Richie McCullagh and Sarah Wilson have taken out the Men's and Women's 2018 Coca-Cola Carbrook Classic today respectively. For McCullagh it his first Classic win, while Wilson defended her title keeping her win ration at 100%.
McCullagh struggled on his first 9 holes today turning in 41 (+6) and brought many players back into contention. He managed to find something on his back nine however and played the next 8 holes in two under par. He eventually bogeyed the last hole (9th) after driving the ball into a bad position however it was good enough for the win and he raised the cup with a smile shortly after. In second place just two back was Lindsay Ross (Emerald Lakes) who returned a great round of 72 (+1) today in quite difficult conditions.
