Well after a delayed start, due to the incredibly wet conditions the first week in July, the Ladies Club Championship commenced on the 16th July. Sadly, the delay meant one or two ladies were not able to play all three rounds, however, we did maintained consistent fields of around thirty ladies for the three weeks of the Stoke.
Unfortunately, our 2018 Lady Champion was not able to be here to defend her “Crown”, but the two divisions were closely contested. This year’s Ladies Championship was won by our newest lady member – one of the Club’s up and coming Juniors Lilly-J Dunn.
Division One Runner Up was Irene Greer.
Division One Nett winner was Gail Hayes and Nett Runner Up was Valda Gablonski.
Division Two Gross winner was Carol Scott and Gross Runner Up was Jenny Charman.
Division Two Nett winner was Mary O’Brien and Runner Up was Terri Van Meulengraaf.
Irene Greer was the winner of the putting competition held in conjunction with the Ladies Club Championship, with 87 putts over the three week event.
