Carbrook awarded Queensland Club of the year



Carbrook Golf Club has been awarded 2016 GMAQ (Golf Management Australia, Queensland) Club of the year at last night's Queensland Golf Industry Awards dinner held at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast.


It was great acknowledgement for Carbrook to have won against some great contenders for the prestigous award. The nominated Clubs included:

  • Redcliffe Golf Club
  • Redland Bay Golf Club
  • Victoria Park Golf Complex

The award acknowledges the Clubs performance in Membership retention and growth, Financial performance, Clubhouse operations, Golf Course operations and Contribution to the community


Accepting the award on behalf of the Club was President Bruce Weston who acknowledged the entire team's effort over many years and also thanked GMAQ for the award. 


The Club won this award back in 2006 but has gone through some challenging times since and to have received this award again 10 years later is great acknowledgement for our Club.
