Play Golf Week - Sunday 23 November

Golf Anyone? Come & Try it at Carbrook Golf Club!

Carbrook Golf Club is opening its doors for a Come & Try Day on Sunday 23 November.

Players will be treated to a clinic with the Club Professionals to learn the basics, followed by a few holes of golf if they choose. The clinic will be held from 12.00 - 2:00pm with a sausage sizzle afterwards. There will also be a jumping castle on site to entertain the little ones and allow Mum and Dad to have a try if they wish. Great prizes are on offer and attendance is just $5 for adults and all children (under 18) are free. Bookings are preferred on 3287 6499 or admin@carbrookgolfclub.com.au.

Carbrook Golf Club’s General Manager Scott Wagstaff says, “People of all ages and abilities are welcome. We are a very relaxed and friendly clb and even if you haven’t tried the game before you are very welcome to come along and have a go. Players don’t even require their own equipment – we can provide that if required. We just want to open our doors to as many people as we can to show them what a great club we have and how much fun golf can be.”

The Come & Try Day is part of Playgolf WEEK, a national campaign being run by Golf Australia and its State Associations, and supported by other industry stakeholders, throughout the week of 17-23 November.

CEO of Golf Australia, Stephen Pitt, said “Playgolf WEEK is a fantastic vehicle for individuals to discover golf as an accessible, colourful and fun past time and we are thrilled that so many clubs have opened their doors to the community.”

Carbrook Golf Club also welcomes any players to become members of the club through our special membership offer available to anyone who comes along on the 23 November. The offer will be available until 31 December as a part of the Playgolf WEEK campaign. Each person that attends will receive more information on the day.
